Students receiving a “Satisfactory” grade will be able to include this coursework toward certification. In light of the recent changes to academic programs due to precautions surrounding COVID-19, otherwise known as the coronavirus, the Certification Review Board (CRB) would like to assure students and professionals that courses taken with a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grading option will not affect their ability to apply for TWS certification. TWS’ Certification Program is managed by Council via the Certification Review Board. TWS’ membership currently consists of more than 400 Associate Wildlife Biologists® and 1,900 Certified Wildlife Biologists®. Certification constitutes recognition by TWS that, to its best knowledge, a member meets the minimum educational, experience, and ethical standards adopted by the Society for professional wildlife biologists. The Wildlife Society supports the development and advancement of wildlife professionals throughout their careers.
